IGNOU Re-registration 2025: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the re-registration process for both UG and PG students for the July 2025 academic session. This process is necessary for those students who want to continue studying in the next semester of their course.
When and how to re-registration
IGNOU Re-registration 2025 has started from 15 May 2025. The last date is 30 June 2025. All students can fill their form by visiting the official portal @onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. In this process, students have to select their course, fill the form, pay the fee and submit it.
Who can apply
Students who are already registered under any UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate or Short-Term Course of IGNOU can re-register. There is no need to wait for the result of the exam or assignment. If a student has missed an exam or assignment, he can still register.
Re-registration fee and required documents
The fee for re-registration is INR 200 which is non-refundable. The fee has to be deposited on the online portal through debit/credit card, net banking, UPI etc. For registration, students need their enrollment number and password. After filling the form, confirmation is received through mail or SMS.
IGNOU Re-registration Process
First of all go to the official portal. Click on “Proceed for Re-registration”. Enter your enrollment number and password. Go to the Student section and select the “Re-registration” option. Choose the subject according to your course and pay the fee. Get confirmation after submitting the form. Keep the printout of the form safe after paying the fee.
How to check the status of re-registration
You can check the status of your application by visiting the portal. Enter the enrollment number and program code and fill the captcha. This will let you know whether your application is approved or not. This process is usually completed in 30 days.
IGNOU UG and PG Re-registration Features
Re-registration is available for IGNOU’s UG courses like BA, BSc, BCA, BCom, BBA as well as PG courses like MA, MCA, MBA, MCom. The last date for each course is 30 June 2025. Students can complete the registration process from the official portal itself.
Importance of last date
The registration process will close after 30 June 2025. Late fine may also be applicable on depositing fees after this date. Therefore, all the students are advised to fill the online form and deposit the fees as soon as possible so that there is no hindrance in their studies.
